I'm a collector, but i haven't been for very long. I'm still learning & very much enjoying that process. I'm definitely selling knives in order to buy more knives. I realize some people get into this for the sole purpose of making money. I certainly am not that guy, which is very easily recognized by the fact that so far, all I've done is the opposite of make money. I really do just enjoy the hobby.
